Feels amazing and confident to pilot this mammoth!!!
Getting into this Beast without the foot board on vehicle itself gives a kind of feeling that you are strong and confident. Once you are on your driver seat you feel like a true commander on road!! All other cars around you start looking small!!Now lets get on to the quality of driving... Driving this vehicle gives you confidence and a good strong manly feeling. I just love driving him on country roads. But there are quite a few things that TATA could improve on, like shifting of gears should have been smoother and the clutch seems to be a little tight. You need a bit of extra energy to shift the gears. Also if the trunk of the pickup is empty and if you are country roads, I mean uneven road, then you feel bumpy it feels like the vehicle is being thrown to the front each time you hit the pothole or any un even surface. I suggest atleast a sand bag packaged in a good bag to kept in the back to avoid that bumpy feeling. Also suggest bed liner to be put to make the vehicle look more premium.

Powerful when turbo charged. Good for plain road.
Look and Style: The new Tata Xenon XT looks good in styling Comfort: Its OK in the front but not at the back. It should have been more cushioned for better comfort. Pickup: Good but not friendly on difficult mountain rough road. Pickup only after turbo charged but it will be difficult to maintain speed in rough road in the mountains especially sharp bends and turns. Mileage: On this front, the Xenon XT is pretty good. Best Features: I love the macho bonnet look of this pickup machine Needs to improve: It should not have been full electronic control because small defect shuts down the complete system. The brake system becomes hard and not effective during rough ride downhill which is very risky. Inbuilt music system is peferred. Wheel cover should be strong and tightly fixed so that it does not pops out with jerks and on rough roads. Check engine signal flashes frequently on my vehicle and this could not be rectified but it has no functional defects as of now 2 yrs +. Overall Experience: The Tata Xenon XT is very good on good roads.
