Audi creates unique Ice Driving Experience for India’s business leaders on Republic Day

The German luxury car maker Audi has come up with a unique idea for providing an exclusive driving experience to members of the CII Indian business delegation in Davos, Switzerland. First time in Indian history, C-suite executives of India were provided with a chance to feel an unmatched luxury along with safety features through the all new Audi A8 L sedan, the flagship version. The opportunity was availed at the Audi Ice Experience at the Seepromenade in Davos. The exclusive luxury dip Audi A8 L is built to deliver landmark features in luxury performance and efficiency. The model will make its appearance in the month of February 2011. Many personalities from India participated in the event. Some of them include Sanjiv Bajaj (MD, Bajaj FinServe); Rajendra Pawar (Chairman & Co-Founder, NIIT); Baba Kalyani (Chairman & MD, Bharat Forge) & Sunita Kalyani and Malvinder Mohan Singh(Group Chairman, Religare & Fortis Healthcare).

Addressing the proud occasion, Michael Perschke who is the Head in Audi India, commented that. The World Economic Forum is an initiative to collaborate the prominent business personalities from different fields. Being the official partner of the WEF, Audi took the initiative in explaining the Vorsprung durch Technik concept to the worthy audience. He said that the company is delighted to entertain India’s most significant leaders at the exclusive Audi Ice Experience today in Davos. He stated that the prominent personalities were told about the exclusive drive of Audi A8 L, the flagship model. The viewers were allowed to check out the 3D campaign for the new A8 L along with a chance to explore it. The event helped the company in briefing the superior qualities of the car before its official launch.
The all exclusive Audi A8 long wheelbase is a stunning model with a perfect mix of technology, sophistication, safety and comfort which assures an enhanced road experience to all the passengers.

Addressing the occasion, Michael Perschke who is the Head of Audi India commented that Audi is proud to bear the “Green Eco” tag in Davos, which shows the company’s dedication in making eco friendly car models without compromising luxury to the occupants.

Year 2010 was  successful for the company by marking a sale of  3003 units which is beyond the targets set by the company making itself the fastest growing luxury car maker in India. In the running year com[any will expand its product portfolio by making some important launches like Audi A8 L followed by  Audi A7 and Audi A6 the company is targeting a growth of 50 per cent in Indian Auto market.

The company is also working towards stronger dealership network in India with new outlets at Delhi and Ludhiana. In the year 2010 company opened up showroom at Mumbai, Kolkata, Jaipur and Bengaluru. At present the company has 6 car models in Indian portfolio- Audi A4, Audi A6, Audi Q5, Audi Q7, Audi TT and the super sports car Audi R8.
