Audi plans to add shifts to meet out stripping demand for SUVs

The Volkswagen Group’s premium brand Audi is planning to make things in order, so that it can deliver cars to the waiting customers at the earliest or even instantly. For this purpose, Audi will be working in more shifts. Besides other models, Audi supposedly will boost production of its Audi Q7 model. As part of this strategy, two of its production units in Germany will be working on the weekends to increase production.

The plan to step up production at its units is also part of the Audi’s strategy to achieve highest-ever sales this year. Besides Audi, BMW and Mercedes also targets the same, this year, eyeing growing wealth and demand for cars in China and expected economy comeback in the US. Furthermore, reports are there in the auto world that Volkswagen also has on its cards more units to tap the growing European market.
