Electric car of Volkswagen to unleash soon

Volkswagen, Europe based car major is set to launch its range in electric cars in India. Volkswagen's e-version of Golf will hit the market by the year 2013. Volkswagen has earlier decided to come up with a new car in the electric car range with E-Golf and the E-Jetta to follow.But now company will commence with the E-Golf only that will lead their product range in the segmet ahead of rival car makers.

As revealed by the company officials, this electric car will be affordable by users from every segment of society. This is their attempt to do some innovation in the car making process. Volkswagen is cooperating with The  key of developing an electric car is the powerful and affordable lithium-ion batteries, Volkwagen is seeking co-operation from companies like Toshiba and Sanyo of Japan as well as Chinese battery and car producer BYD.
