It looks like Maruti Suzuki has vowed to leave no stone unturned in order to get the biggest market share in all the segments it deals in. Recently launched Maruti Suzuki Ertiga MPV's global success has encouraged the company to take further risks. We have been constantly reporting about Maruti Suzuki's plans of brining in the facelift version of Ritz to India, and in the meanwhile, they have launched it in Europe.
The European version of Maruti Suzuki Ritz owns a revamped front fascia having the all new fog lamps and the new Swift-Dzire-look-alike front bumper. Not just exterior but there are minor changes in interiors as well. Maruti Suzuki Ritz facelift version is expected to come along with some new features in India, which we have seen in the all new Swift.
One more change that we will get to see in the facelift is, the K12M motor replacing the existing K12 motor, which will come with VVT this time. And as the time demands more fuel efficient cars, we can see a little alteration in the 1.3 DDiS oil burner as well to make it better in terms of fuel efficiency.
The other major changes that the Indian version will feature are ABS, Audio controls on steering wheels, front dual airbags and climate control. The Indian facelift version of the Maruti Suzuki Ritz is expected to come in two fuel options, 1.2 litre petrol and 1.3 litre diesel with five speed manual transmission and will be priced between Rs. 4.5 to 6.5 Lakhs.
