Maruti Kizashi to launch by year end

Maruti Kizashi, one of the most awaited sports sedan from the Maruti Suzuki India's stable is going to be launched by the year end, according to the details rendered by the company officials. The car as speculated would be shelved in the price segment of 10 to 12 Lacs. Kizashi is already performing well on the roads of US and Europe and is indeed a very popular one, there. The production model of the same was displayed in India for the first time at the Delhi Auto expo held in Jan'2010.

Maruti Kizashi, the sports sedan would be powered by a J24B 2.4 litre petrol engine, capable of producing peak power of 185 hp at 6,500 rpm (Manual Transmission) and 180 hp at 6,000 rpm (continuously Variable Transmission). The maximum torque from the engine is 170 Nm at 4,000 rpm in both the transmissions. The steering wheel is expected to be electronically controlled and the braking system would comprise of Electronic brake-force distribution (EBD), Electric Stability Program (ESP) along with the Anti-lock Brake System (ABS).

Some features that are bound to attract the prospective buyers and increase the differential quotient of the car include 8 airbags (front, rear and curtain), push button keyless start, power steering, windows and mirrors, Dual-zone climate control, EPS Stability control and ABS, projector beam headlamps etc. Maruti cars are known to be a value for money option for buyers across the globe and Maruti Kizashi is sure to prove the same with its sporty yet elegant exteriors and posh interiors. The feel of the car is expected to be superb with interiors blessed with instrument panel, AC vents, storage boxes and an audio system sporting 7 speakers and CD/MP3 player along with integrated bluetooth, audio streaming and wireless mobile phone integration.
