Maruti reaches 1 million car sales in just 10 months

Maruti Suzuki India Ltd., one of the prominent names in the world of Indian automobile industry is on a high swing and flaunting some amazing figures in its sales department. India’s largest car maker has made history this time by selling a total of one million cars in the last financial year. Continuing the proud progress, MSIL has been performing even better this year. The milestone set by the company has already been passed this year and a million sale including the domestic and export figures, has reached a million mark already. 50 per cent of global sales figure of Suzuki, the parent company, is handled by MSI.

The company has been facing some typical production hindrance but leaving all that behind, company has still been able to register commendable growth. Last year in the month of October and November, MSIL sold total of one lakh cars in the Indian auto market. the company was facing high demand and thus a manufacturing unit at Manesar was set up. This production facility is capable of manufacturing 2.5 lakh cars a year same as its second plant.

MSIL has a capacity of manufacturing a total of 12,00,000 units through its two plants. The major output from the company comes from its Gurgaon plant. The company has been performing exceptionally well at the time Indian Auto industry is growing at exponential rate. This is the ideal time that the Indian manufacturer can experience maximum growth.
