The New Generation Hyundai Santa Fe's Prices Revealed

Hyundai UK today has announced the pricing and specification for the next generation Santa Fe SUV, which has been said to be going on sale from October 15. This 2.2-litre CRDi style engine will come in both 2WD and 4WD and the price will start from £25,495 off the road. The new generation Santa Fe gets better in interior quality and technology, thus become more attractive than the current version. Hyundai Motor UK's President and CEO, Tony Whitehorn said that the nameplate will be the same for the Santa fe, since it has been one of the hugely popular product of Hyundai brand in UK.

He further adds,“We think that the New Generation Santa Fe will not only appeal to existing customers with its fresh design and improved levels of standard technology, but will attract a new range of buyers looking for a stylish, premium and authentic SUV.” Housing 2.2-litre CRDi engine, the new generation Santa Fe churns out 195bhp and 421Nm of torque that prove it to be a powerful and fuel efficient machine. It is expected to come mated to a six-speed manual or automatic transmission.

The other additional features, that the new Santa Fe is expected to carry include 18-inch alloy wheels, body coloured door mirrors with integrated indicator lights, body coloured door handles, reverse parking sensor, daytime running lights, a rear spoiler with high-mounted brake light and self-levelling suspension. whereas, inside the cabin it will have air conditioning as standard in all the models, Bluetooth with voice recognition, Hyundai's adjustable Flex Steer™ system and multi-function steering wheel.

Various safety features too are standard like ESP, Hill Start Assist, Stability Control, seven air-bags etc. An all new feature, which is icing on the cake is the Active Bonnet System that raises the bonnet by 60mm at the time of pedestrian collision, which minimises the head injury impact. So, the all new Santa Fe is safer than before.
