Suzuki had showcased a 7-seater version of its very popular hatch, WagonR, at Indonesia International Motor Show'13 which is now slated to be launched in the Indian market. The concept showcased has been named as 'Karium Wagon R 3 Rows', and is bascially an extended model of the existing Wagon R. We, presume it to be the next competitor rising against the yet-to-arrive Datsun Go+ MPV.
Looking at the concept, we can say that there's no change implemented with the ground clearance, while it gets a larger rear quarter glass and rear overhang. Inside the cabin, it seems like there could be lot more done with the spacing and seat height, especially on the third row. Considering the current market scenario, we can expect the low-cost, sub-four metre, MPV segment to garner more popularity in India. These family cars are designed in a way perfectly fit the Indian family size.
There's already Datsun Go+ planned to arrive anytime this year in India. While, we can expect this new Suzuki product to arrive by end of this year or by early 2015.
