Tata Sumo Grande MKII LX comes with a powerful 2.2L 118bhp DOHC, 16 Valves DiCOR (Direct Injection Common Rail) engine w/ VGT in Line Diesel Engine that can dispel 2,179cc and generates a maximum power of 118.5bhp at 4000rpm and maximum torque is 250Nm at 1500-3000rpm. This engine generates good fuel mileage at around 10kmpl on city roads while on highway it reaches up to 13.6kmpl while it has the capacity to cross 0-100km in just 17.6seconds.
